Letter of Protection
Many Americans experience chronic pain from an automobile accident, workplace accident, or a slip and fall accident. Often times the injured person is in need of medical care, but the expense can be tremendous and the medical bills keep growing. If that pain was the result of somebody else’s negligence, typically referred to as personal injury, and you are not able to cover the cost for your medical care, your attorney can issue a Letter of Protection (LOP) to your doctor.
A Letter of Protection is a legal document asking your doctor hold the medical bills and the promise by the injured person to pay the doctor out of the proceeds of the case.
We Accept Letter of Protection
The team at Texas Injury and Rehab Solutions accepts Letter of Protection cases. We have many attorney partnerships and accept their Letter of Protection documents, ensuring that the injured person gets the proper medical care and treatments needed to get back to health. If insurance claims are filed, our team will partner with the attorney to ensure all documents are properly completed so that the insurance company will pay out all claims in a timely manner.
